If you have been following this blog, you have noticed that the workouts are getting more challenging. That more work is performed in each session. And when you time yourself, it is easier to see little improvements. If you add or cut 1 second, you know you are improving. This is harder to do if you use weights. You can’t add weight or an extra rep every workout.
So seeing improvement every time is a big motivation factor for. And you also have to consider the other side of the coin: dealing with the lack of improvement. When you start to plateau and you can’t seem to get better.
Well, this is what I have to deal with right now. My numbers are raising red flags. And you will see by today’s results that my body is sending messages. It needs more time to recover in order to be able to work harder. So I’ll give it 4 days off and the next workout will be on Friday. We’ll see if I can finish this phase with a bang and I’ll take next week rest.
Today’ results
1-arm push up = 0:35 (same)
1-leg Squat = 1:00 (added a sec)
Table Row = 1:16
