Stay Strong = Stay Young

You should do all you can to naturally and safely increase or at least maintain your precious muscle tissue. It will help you preserve your physical ability, increase your metabolism thus burning more calories, and build stronger bones. Getting stronger is not just for vanity reasons.

I found the study in a book by Doug McGuff called Body by Science. If you want to know how strength training can benefit your health, you need to read that book.
