My no equipment home workout: session 18

Today’s workout did not feel that great. I tried new variations and it did not go as well as I have imagined. Anyway I learned some valuable lessons. First, let me post the numbers.

1-arm push up (from knees) = 0:23
Lunges = 1:30
Table row, feet out = 1:03
1 side plank = 0:43

So, when you do max holds like this on 1 side, don’t do the other side right away. It applies to even the lunges. The fatigue gets in the way and stops you early. So the muscle fibers of the other side won’t be pushed enough.

And in order to focus on strength and hypertrophy, 90 seconds will be the new max time. So even though the lunges burned my legs, it can’t stay in as is.

So here is the line up for Monday.

1 arm push up
1 leg squat
Table row
1 arm push up
1 leg squat
