Starting week 2 of the isometrics for hypertrophy program. And this program may be short but it kicks my butt. After I’m done with the squats, I can barely walk.
Anyway, I’ve been doing some research on isometric training. I can’t find a lot. And most of them are in a rehab scope (low intensity). But I found one guy that believes in it.
His plan uses equipment and he works at the stronger joint angle only. And he advises very short contraction time since his plan is mainly for pure strength. His name is Pete Sisco and his plan is called Static Contraction.
So here are my results.
1-arm push up = 0:32
1-leg squat = 0:55
Table Row = 1:20
