The other day, I was learning AC/DC's Back in Black on the guitar. I realized how basic the chords were: E, D and A. Those are some of the first chords I’ve learned. And put in the hands and creativity of Angus Young, it becomes a masterpiece.
Now you are probably wondering what this has to do with exercise. Well this made me think of how we complicate things in fitness. How we tend to forget the basics for the new trend.
Take my Basic Workout: Squat, Push up, Alternate Lunges and Plank. When it gets easy, it can be jazzed up. Do Jump Squat, Power Push up, Jump Lunges and Plank with feet elevated. Try it and you will create magic with basic ingredients. Thanks Angus.
