Are you making any progress?

When you do a home workout and using no equipment, it can be hard to measure progress. How do you know if you have more endurance? Here are 2 ways to solve the problem.

1. Workout Time Trial

With this method, you maintain the same routine. That means that same exercises, sets, and repetitions. You start your stop-watch at the beginning and stop it when you have completed the routine. When you can complete it in a shorter time, you are getting better.

2. Maximum Work

This time you start with a set time, let’s say 20 minutes. And you complete as many circuits as you can in the allotted time.

In both cases, you aim to do more work/min. Which means more calories/min. This results in a bigger bang from your home workout.

If you need clarification don’t hesitate to ask.
