Celery
Seems to help in reducing blood pressure. It also has a lot of fiber. Which helps to keep you full longer.
Seaweed
Great plant source of calcium and potassium. Japanese food uses it a lot.
Hemp seeds
Good source of omega-3 fatty acids. It also provides complete protein. Just like eggs, meat and dairy.
Scallops
3 ounces of scallop gives you 20 grams of protein and only 95 calories. Most seafood is the same. Just don’t drench them in butter.
Dark meat
Dark turkey and chicken meat raises the level of a hormone that makes you feel full longer. So it is less likely that you will overeat.
Lentils
Gives you a ton of fiber and some protein. And I think that lentils and other legumes are a must if you want to lose fat. They get you full fast and for a long time. Have you ever tried to stuff your face with chickpeas?
Here is the message I get from all this. Eat a variety of fresh, unprocessed foods. That way you get all of the benefits and it is less likely that you will have a deficiency.
