Most fat loss nutrition plans suggest that you eat more protein. There are a few reasons for that.
1. Proteins will keep you full longer. It takes more time to digest and absorb a chicken breast than white rice. It is very hard to overeat on proteins. If you don’t believe me, try it.
2. Proteins are the building blocks of your body. Your muscles, nails, hair, etc … need protein to be strong. So it is less likely that protein will be stored as fat. Carbohydrates are only used for energy.
