4 benefits of working out without equipment

1. Portable
You can declare freedom from fitness equipment. You will never be stumped because you don’t have access to equipment. You will not be “stuck” to go out for a run. Because you know that your body is the ultimate exercise machine. And you know how to use this machine to create an amazing workout for yourself. And you can do this workout anywhere: home, office, hotel room or your in-laws’ spare bedroom.

2. Functional
It is hard to do isolation exercises when you don’t have equipment. You are kind of forced to do functional exercises. When you decide to workout with no equipment, you use your body the way it was meant to be used. And you work your body as a whole, not like separate parts. Your mid section is the link between your upper and lower body. So you have to train those body parts accordingly

3. Money saving
Let’s face it, who wants to spend more than needed? Wouldn’t you welcome a few extra dollars in you pocket? By working with no equipment, you don’t need to pay monthly fees for your gym membership. Also, you can pay other debt instead of spending on a treadmill. And you don’t need special gym clothes to impress passersby.

4. Environment friendly
It may be a stretch but yes it is. If you don’t use a treadmill, you save electricity (see #3). And those plastic covered weights always rip. And that plastic end up in the garbage and goes to landfill. And I don’t even count the energy that was used to create those pieces of equipment.

So be free, build a stronger body, save some money and do your part for the environment.
