Long and slow cardio is dead.

I was training a client in a condo gym. There were 4 other people in there. They were all on cardio machines and all doing long and slow. I know we used to say that slow cardio was the best way to burn fat. But just like neon-colored leg warmers, it was in the 80s.

A different approach
Researchers now know that high intensity exercises are the way to go if you want to burn fat. Same goes for when you want to get in shape. The higher the intensity, the more calories you burn.

A little circuit will challenge your cardio fitness and improve your strength and posture. And if still want to use the treadmill, at least add intervals to your routine.
