I get asked “How do I know if I’m getting in better shape if I don’t use weights?” In this example, I’ll use the Back to Basics workout and I’ll show you how to increase your workload by almost 7%.
Let’s say you can complete 3 circuits in 20 minutes. And you take a 2 minute break between circuits. All you have to do is 2 more repetitions and take the same time and you have increased your workload by 6.6%.

Squats 10 10
Push up 10 10
Alternate lunges 10 12
Plank 30 sec 30 sec
And when the new workout gets easier, add some reps on other exercises. Congratulations, you are getting in better shape.
