For your home workouts it’s not how long, it’s how hard.

What is your excuse for not starting to workout? Is you’re excuse for not exercising lack of time? This study may kill your last excuse.

Prescribing exercise in multiple bouts versus one continuous bout.
Jakicic et al. International Journal of Obesity, 1995

They studied 2 groups of obese females. Both groups exercised for 30 min, 3 times a week. Group A did one 30-min session. Group B did 10 min morning lunch and evening. Which group lost more body fat? Group B. On of the reason is that they were able to workout at a higher intensity.

So you see, even 10 min can make a difference. Can you spare 10 minutes here and there for your home workout? Of course, more would be better. But you can’t use lack of time as an excuse any more. It’s not how long, it’s how hard.
