Can vitamin D help you lose fat?

Vitamin D gets a lot of press. And it is a very important vitamin. Chances are you don’t have enough of it. This may cause health problems. 33% of men are deficient and 50% have suboptimal levels.

And there is one more bonus to having proper levels of vitamin D. Recent studies found a link between high D levels and low fat percentage. Researchers at Laval University in Quebec City reported that people who consumed more vitamin D had less belly fat than people who ate less.

Where to find it in food? Egg yolks and fatty fish have plenty. And your skin produces it when it is exposed to the sun: 10 to 15 min is enough.
