Who's fault is it?

People think that equipment is required to get in shape. Why do they think that? How did we get so far away from the basic forms of exercise? Is it Arthur Jones fault? After all he invented the Nautilus machines? I think that at the end of the day, it’s all of us that are to blame. The fitness industry just gives us what we want. A dream of a beautiful fit body with very little effort. And there you go, giving your credit card number to get the latest fitness toy from the shopping network.

I know people that own every gizmo you can imagine. Their basement could be turned into a museum for fitness equipment. The best part, it’s all new. Never been used.

You don’t need the machine to get motivated. You need to get motivated and committed first. Again, like your exercise session, equipment doesn’t make it. You do.

So stop wishing for the new cure all machine or supplement. It does not exist. Start eating well and fit in your schedule 15 minutes to do some body weight exercises. It will make a big difference. Don’t look for a scape goat. Take ownership.
